HEROES for Red Cross is a fundraising campaign in which volunteer HEROES commit to each raise $1000 in support of Red Cross programs and services which benefit families right here in our community.

The campaign is held annually and is way to support Red Cross which serves as a HERO to families coping with disaster and military families every day. For more information on HEROES contact Mitzi Oxford at 706-325-9554.

Since March, Red Cross has responded with safe shelter, a hot meal and a helping hand for families devastated by tornadoes, flooding and wildfires in 29 states. Every day, right here in our community, Red Cross saves the day for families who lose everything in a fire or providing a vital support system for military families back home which gives their soldier peace of mind overseas.

We encourage you to remember the heroic efforts of our local Red Cross every day, right here at home and at Ft. Benning. Whether it's a hurricane or a heart attack, a call for blood or a call for help, Red Cross is there because of caring people like you
